Larry D. Werts, P.E.

Mr. Werts is the Owner and President of Werts Consulting, LLC. He has over 18 years of extensive and widely varied experience as a professional structural engineer. His expertise includes the evaluation and structural design of multi-story schools and healthcare facilities, residential structures, water treatment and industrial facilities, and even highway bridges. Much of his work has been on the investigation, analysis and renovation of existing structures. His experiences have given him comprehensive knowledge and understanding in all aspects of the components, materials, and mechanics of building systems.

Mr. Werts is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York (#084985), the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (#086160), West Virginia (#17374) and Georgia (#042458). He is also has certifications as a New York State Code Enforcement Official (#0717-0245) and a licensed New York State Home Inspector (#16000065660). He is a member in good standing with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Alfred State College with an Associate’s degree in Architectural Construction and is also a graduate from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
